What happens now that I’ve applied for a project with SOLCOM?

If you have applied for a particular project we first need to check your documentation. If you are able to demonstrate convincingly that you are suitable for the task one of our employees will get in touch with you for a first telephone interview. The selection process is very thorough and fair. We will make extremely detailed checks on your experience and knowledge up to now and obtain, with your consent, references on your previous projects. Your soft skills are naturally also sought after. We will let you know if we have ruled you out for the project in question, and check which other projects would better suit your core profile. In short, we are always active on your behalf.

What happens now that I’ve proactively sent off my qualification profile to SOLCOM?

When we receive your qualification profile we will check it to make sure that it is complete. You will immediately receive a comfirmation of receipt and, if applicable, a request to submit further necessary information. We will then check what current projects you might be considered for. If a project particularly suits your profile we will describe it to you in more detail. If you are interested in the job we will carry out checks on your previous experience and skills within the context of an interview that focuses on the task in question. We will also obtain, with your consent, references concerning your previous projects. If both you and we are convinced that you are the ideal candidate for that particular assignment we will introduce you and your qualification profile to our client. Our expertise will allow us to provide you with an optimal introduction to the customer. In an interview you can satisfy him or her of your suitability, while at the same time becoming better acquainted with the project and client. If the client chooses you, you will receive a collaboration contract from SOLCOM.

What costs am I liable for if SOLCOM introduces me to a client?

Our services involve you in no costs whatsoever. Our fees are covered exclusively by our clients. There is also, of course, no charge or obligation involved in joining our pool of experts.

Can I also make an application if I find no suitable offer on the SOLCOM website or am not free at that time?

You always have the proactive option of applying to SOLCOM. We make ongoing adjustments to our pool of experts in relation to our clients’ project queries. It may also happen that our clients request that we do not publish project descriptions or that we have received a request that we have had no time to publish. If we have already entered your proactive application in our data bank we are in a position to react to queries at short notice. What is important is that you regularly keep us up to date regarding your availability and send us up-to-date documentation.

We generally also receive feedback just as quickly as to whether there will be a telephone interview or an appointment for a personal introduction. We usually understand very well what our clients expect and require in terms of time and can give you precise information about how long the procedure will take.
