As a System Architect S/4HANA (Offshore), you will shape the architectural foundation of a global SAP transformation landscape. In this senior role, you will connect business strategy, enterprise architecture and technology delivery to create scalable, secure and maintainable SAP S/4HANA solutions. You will work across functional and technical domains, guiding teams from early requirements and design through implementation, testing, migration, deployment and hypercare. Your focus will be on enabling standardized, integrated and future-ready business processes while keeping the solution aligned with the long-term ERP roadmap. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional and technical experts, product teams, local IT organizations and external implementation partners. As an experienced architect, you will be expected to provide clear direction, challenge complexity constructively and make pragmatic decisions that balance business value, delivery feasibility, risk and sustainability.
- You will define, maintain and communicate the SAP S/4HANA target architecture in alignment with business strategy, ERP roadmaps, enterprise architecture principles and global IT standards.
- You will translate business capabilities, process requirements and transformation objectives into scalable, secure and maintainable S/4HANA solution architectures.
- You will design and govern end-to-end integration concepts connecting SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, legacy systems, regional applications, data platforms and external partners.
- You will lead architecture assessments, fit-gap discussions, solution design reviews and key design decisions across relevant SAP workstreams.
- You will identify architectural risks, dependencies, technical debt, simplification opportunities and areas for standardization.
- You will create and maintain architecture blueprints, roadmaps, decision documents, interface overviews, extension guidelines and solution design principles.
- You will provide architectural guidance during design, build, testing, migration, deployment and hypercare activities.
- You will ensure that security, compliance, data protection, authorization, lifecycle management, scalability and operational requirements are considered from the outset.
- You will evaluate SAP innovations, architecture options and transformation patterns and recommend solutions that support the long-term S/4HANA roadmap.
- You will facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders, technical teams, functional teams, delivery partners and global IT organizations.
Must-haves
You bring more than ten years of professional experience in SAP architecture, SAP transformation or enterprise-scale ERP delivery, together with the ability to operate confidently across business and technology perspectives. This position requires a broad understanding of end-to-end business processes and deep expertise in more than one SAP functional domain. You should be comfortable working in complex, international environments where global process templates, regional requirements, legacy integrations and transformation timelines must be balanced carefully. Beyond technical knowledge, you will need strong consulting, facilitation and stakeholder-management capabilities. You can challenge requirements constructively, explain architectural trade-offs clearly and guide diverse teams toward fit-to-standard, clean-core and sustainable solutions. Experience with large-scale S/4HANA programs is essential, as is the ability to make sound decisions in situations involving ambiguity, competing priorities and significant business impact. English is required for effective collaboration across the international working environment.

- You will demonstrate extensive experience delivering SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives and programs.
- You will bring deep expertise in more than one SAP functional domain and demonstrate strong cross-functional process knowledge.
- You will have proven experience designing end-to-end business solutions spanning multiple SAP workstreams.
- You will understand global process templates, international organizations and large-scale deployment programs.
- You will demonstrate strong knowledge of SAP integration concepts and interactions with non-SAP applications.
- You will have experience leading solution design workshops, fit-gap discussions and architecture decision processes.
- You will be able to challenge business requirements and drive simplification, standardization and fit-to-standard outcomes.
- You will apply end-to-end process thinking, business process architecture and SAP S/4HANA solution-design expertise.
- You will demonstrate a clean-core mindset, architecture-governance experience and the ability to assess design trade-offs.
- You will influence stakeholders effectively and communicate complex architectural topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You will bring strong decision-making, facilitation, collaboration and enterprise-transformation leadership skills.
- You will be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
